A little bit sad in one Eye
Our exhibition will consist of painting, drawing, sculpture, audio and text.
a little bit sad in one eye is an exhibition that specifically centres on the remnants of memories after they have been stripped of nostalgia, traumatic affections and their associated loss. Through its creation, the work takes aim at the acknowledgement of manipulated ‘past’ and its fictitious recollections. Crucial to this recognition is how the emphasis on such temporal contemplations, are used to continuously puncture current time itself and its events.
In short, we want to treat the past as something transient, which exists outside of our relativity and reliance on it.
The exhibition will consist of painting, drawing, sculpture, audio and text.
I Want to be Bored
I Want to be bored is an exhibition about the importance of boredom and its implications as a ‘space for thought’. What stems from the artists’ considerations and their associated concerns here, about the continued eradication of boredom within the digital age of ‘the device’, is at the core of this project. The work addresses this reality.
The works consist of painting, mixed media objects and sounds.
